Soft washed jute is a thicker and more tightly woven form of traditional jute, making it extremely durable and a perfect fabric for fashion items. During the production process, the woven jute is washed several times, until the fibres become softened. This results in a super smooth material, comparable to cotton canvas, except much softer and very comfortable to wear, even against bare skin.
Our washed jute is coloured using AZO-free dyes and as our fabrics are not mass-produced, the colour shades may vary slightly from bag to bag.
